Position Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds.
- Conduct general carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, ceramic tile repair.
- Proactive maintenance of siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pools, elevators, etc.
- Manage work orders, ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction.
- Inspect grounds and facilities daily for safety and cleanliness, addressing issues promptly.
- Assist with emergency management and respond to property issues.
- Communicate maintenance issues to supervisors and managers.
- Promote safety and risk management compliance.
- Monitor emergency response times and participate in on-call rotations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, fostering positive resident interactions.
- Conduct apartment inspections and oversee unit turnovers.
- Mentor maintenance team members and uphold professional standards.
- Adhere to risk management policies and complete assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in property management or related field.
- General maintenance and carpentry skills.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, current auto insurance.
- Proficiency in English, basic office equipment use, strong customer service skills, organizational skills, ability to multitask, perform basic math, and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Compliance with safety and uniform policies. Completion of Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion training within 30 days.
