Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance mechanics and collaborate with robotics and controls specialists in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will schedule work, train staff, manage contractor relations, and ensure preventive maintenance across facilities while meeting KPIs and budget considerations.

This role requires flexibility across shifts, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with onsite stakeholders to keep operations running

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.
• Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
• Must be authorized to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance mechanics and collaborate with robotics and controls technicians.
• Model safety standards and maintain a safety-focused environment.
• Develop solutions to problems and manage outside contractors; on-call for emergencies.
• Support multi-site production in a safe, customer-focused manner.
• Meet operational KPIs, including labor tracking; own scheduling and ticket completion.
• Oversee building cleanliness and inventory tracking; participate in budgets and cost analysis.
