A Typical Day Includes

• Site Visits: Manage and oversee multiple locations, including Lodi, Newark, West Caldwell, Rutherford, and Carlstadt, NJ, ensuring each site meets high standards of maintenance and operational efficiency. The goal is to visit all sites throughout the week, with shift engagement varying depending on site management needs.
• People Management: Managing 20-35+ employees
• Morning Briefing: Start your day with a team meeting to discuss priorities, review safety updates, and address outstanding issues from previous shifts.
• Work Orders Management: Evaluate, prioritize, and delegate work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring tasks are assigned based on technician skills and availability.
• Facility Walkthroughs: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, overseeing safety training, audits, and inspections to promote a culture of safety.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to drive improvements, generate reports, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians, conduct performance evaluations, and lead training and development initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4-year degree or 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance.
• Experience: 3+ years in a leadership role, managing maintenance teams and programs.
• Skills: Experience with conveyor systems and robotic maintenance management preferred.
• Multi-Site Experience: Essential!

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $95,000 - $116,000 per year, plus a 10% bonus incentive.
• Schedule: 40+ hours per week, with flexibility for on-call duties across multiple sites. Expect to see all sites throughout the week, with shifts varying between day and night depending on site needs.
