Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Business/Public Admin or equivalent; relevant library leadership experience preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience in a public library setting.
• Three years of management with budget authority required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for the department in collaboration with Library leadership and Board.
• Direct and manage departmental fiscal activities including accounting, budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis.
• Oversee departmental reporting and performance metrics to monitor progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with City departments to support daily operations and organizational objectives.
• Monitor compliance with City, department, and division policies and procedures.
• Possess the responsibilities of the Director in their absence.
• Lead staff development and volunteer program oversight.
