Job summary

Simmons University in Boston is seeking an assistant lacrosse coach to support the head coach in day-to-day operations of the lacrosse program.

You will provide on-field instruction, help create practice plans, assist in game strategy, prepare and analyze game film, identify high-potential student-athletes, and scout opponents.

This 9-month, 18-hours-per-week position emphasizes teamwork, coaching excellence, and commitment to Inclusive Excellence and Social Justice.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years coaching experience preferred.
  • Collegiate playing experience.

Job Summary

Reporting to the head coach, this position's primary responsibility is to aid the head coach in day to day operations of the lacrosse program.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide on field instruction for practice and games

  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Travel with the team during season is expected
