Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is assisting a respected restaurant group in Cincinnati to fill an Assistant Kitchen Manager role. Lead kitchen operations in a vibrant pizzeria and cocktail bar, focusing on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction through strong supervision and hands-on leadership.

You will ensure sanitation and food safety, manage recipes and portioning, monitor temperatures, and guide staff on prep, cooking, and plating.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen supervisory or culinary experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain and enforce cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Skills in food cost control, inventory management, and ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
