Job summary

PILF Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support multiple Dallas and Fort Worth locations.

You will lead kitchen teams, uphold safety and sanitation standards, manage scheduling and cost control, and drive training and development while ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in varied kitchen roles; at least 6 months in leadership.
• Excellent communication with managers, kitchen staff and guests.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must hold a food service sanitation certificate.
• Experience with POS, inventory programs and online ordering.

Responsibilities

• Implements and enforces kitchen policies and procedures.
• Oversees training of new kitchen staff and maintains a positive work environment.
• Ensures safety, sanitation and proper operation of equipment and utensils.
• Schedules BOH labor to meet activity while controlling costs.
• Complies with health, safety and labor regulations for the restaurant and guests.
• Maintains food quality, portioning, and serving standards.
• Maintains inventory logs and tracks waste; ensures proper dating.
