The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of restaurant management experience, holds a ServSafe certification, and demonstrates strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to drive efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or an equivalent food-handling certificate preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and staff supervision.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and ticket times during busy service periods.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of kitchen employees.
• Manage food ordering, receiving, inventory, and invoice verification.
• Monitor food costs, labor expenses, inventory levels, and budget requirements.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment.
• Prepare daily prep sheets, monitor inventory par levels, and conduct food inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and food safety standards.
