<> is now hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager

The Homegrown Hospitality Group is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager who will be the backbone of our culinary team. You'll work alongside our talented chefs to ensure smooth operations, maintain impeccable food quality, and create unforgettable dining experiences.


The Homegrown Hospitality Group consists of 9 different business concepts and over 15 locations located throughout South Carolina in Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Multiple concepts, multiple locations, one big family!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in managing and motivating the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional results.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Oversee inventory control, food ordering, and cost management.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and refine existing dishes.
  • Streamline kitchen operations, improve efficiency, and maximize productivity.
  • Ensure that every dish that leaves the kitchen exceeds guest expectations.
  • Proficient in utilizing restaurant management systems, including Restaurant365, ADP, Toast/Lightspeed, and scheduling software.
  • Leverage technology to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PREFERRED:
  • Prior supervisory experience in a kitchen setting.
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control.
  • Culinary degree or certificate.
SALARY RANGE

$45,000-55,000 annual salary based on experience (plus monthly bonuses)
