Job summary

Utah Valley University is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Childcare Teacher to support a safe, engaging classroom for young children. You will assist with daily activities, foster development and work with experienced educators during a Monday–Friday 9:00 am–2:00 pm schedule.

The role offers hands-on learning, relationship-building with children and families, and a collaborative environment focused on student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months related experience.
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am–2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and maintains correct teacher-to-child ratios.
• Assists with teaching the developmentally appropriate education curriculum.
• Ensures children's safety and needs by maintaining a clean classroom.

• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with people of varying backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints.
• Ability to exercise effective interpersonal problem-solving and decision-making skills.
