Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDA not required.
• First Aid & CPR Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Utah Driver's License.
• Utah Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
• Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written); bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children aged 15 months to 5 years.
• Implement play‑based learning using Creative Curriculum and interest centers.
• Engage in hands-on activities to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Extend learning beyond the classroom with outdoor activities.
• Assess each child's progress and tailor activities to individual needs.
• Collaborate with other teachers to maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Utilize developmentally appropriate practices to guide behavior.
