Job summary

A#1 Air, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Rockstar Team in Lewisville, TX.

You will supervise service technicians, manage the fleet, and mentor the team to achieve top performance while maintaining customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving, warranty and billing knowledge, and the ability to train and coach staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a management role.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to train and diagnose HVAC equipment.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Weekly training with your team.
• Running callbacks with team members to show in-field solutions.
• Be available for your team; if they are working, you are too.
• Document jobsite analysis information per job.
• Perform unscheduled jobsite inspections.
• Be prepared to pick up overflow service calls.
• Ensure proper vehicle care and stock for your team.
• Quarterly performance reviews for your team.
• Other tasks to maintain efficient department operations.
• Ensure technician licenses and certificates are renewed and up to date.
• Utilize the software program effectively.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work.
• Communicate updates to customers and other managers.
• Set and meet performance goals.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction with prompt, professional service.
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays on short notice.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will oversee the efficiencies of the service technicians and fleet department. In addition, a strong background in customer relations, warranty and billing claims, sales, and the drive to mentor your team to be top performers. This role requires hands-on experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively and ensure its continued success and growth.

• Implement and enforce company safety protocols
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and professional service delivery
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice

Experience

MUST HAVE HVAC EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of proven experience in a management role
• Strong organizational leadership skills to lead and grow a team of technicians
• 2+ years of sales experience
• Ability to properly train and diagnose equipment
• Great attitude, high energy, great communication, and sales driven personality
• Strong computer skills

Compensation & Hours

• Pay: $65,000 +, DOE
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Location: In - Office
