Position Overview

The Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and supervising housekeeping staff to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Compensation

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr. Actual pay depends on skills and experience. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, PTO, bonus points, daily pay, referral bonuses, and career advancement opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Greet guests and respond to requests
2. Maintain a safe environment in guest rooms
3. Assign tasks and inspect work quality
4. Train team members
5. Supervise department activities
6. Manage inventory and supplies
7. Address guest complaints and take corrective actions
8. Change bed linens and make beds
9. Replace towels and bathroom amenities
10. Clean floors, carpets, furniture, and public areas
11. Report maintenance issues
12. Update room status and restock supplies
13. Follow health and safety protocols
14. Participate in meetings and interact with guests

Qualifications

1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
2. Experience in customer service or guest-related roles
3. Experience in hospitality cleaning roles preferred
4. Supervisory experience preferred
5. Effective communication skills
6. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing and movement, handling objects, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and close-range observation skills.
