Job summary

Onni in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our suites and property cleanliness, oversee preventative maintenance, and drive outstanding guest service.

You will hire, train, schedule, and coach housekeeping staff, monitor labor costs, coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, and ensure safety policies are followed. This role requires independence, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic reading skills.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to speak Vietnamese considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property.
• Monitor preventative maintenance of the property.
• Create and maintain a motivated team that delivers high-end service.
• Assist in managing housekeeping labor costs.
• Oversee in-house laundry oversight, purchasing, inventory, and labor controls.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards.
• Run room reports and update room statuses.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Manage guest requests from Guest Services to ensure completion and resolution.
• Organize and track lost and found.
• Hire, train, schedule, motivate, and coach housekeeping staff.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete safety trainings.

What You Will Do:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for maintaining pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property.
• Monitors the preventative maintenance of the property.
• Creates and maintains a highly motivated and customer orientated team that exceeds high end customer service.
• Assists in managing, maintaining, and controlling housekeeping labor costs.
• Assists with the in-house laundry oversight, purchasing, inventory, and labor controls.
• Inspects guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned to ensure quality standards.
• Runs room reports, verifies room status, determines discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates status of departing guest rooms.
• Ensures all rooms are available for sale and all deficiencies are amended.
• Partners with management to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Manages and monitors all guest requests sent from Guest Services to ensure they are completed, documented, and resolved.
• Organizes and properly tracks lost and found.
• Manages, hires, trains, coordinates schedules, motivates, and assists with coaching and of housekeeping employees.
• Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensures employees follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

Salary Range:
