Rockwell Care Services in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking an Assistant House Manager / Direct Support Supervisor to lead daily operations in our residential home serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

This full-time role blends hands-on caregiving with leadership, mentoring staff, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring high-quality care and compliance while helping residents achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Med Tech Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• 6+ months of caregiving, DSP, healthcare, or disability services experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Valid Idaho Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and care to residents.
• Assist the House Manager with daily operations.
• Help ensure quality care and compliance standards are maintained.
• Support and mentor direct care staff.
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage when needed.
• Complete documentation and resident records.
• Promote a positive, safe, and supportive home environment.
• Help residents achieve personal goals and maintain independence.
• Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Medication assistance and reminders.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Transportation and community outings.
