Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Preferred 6 months of supervisory or leadership experience
• Must meet all mandatory Direct Support Professional requirements
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance covering any vehicle used to transport participants
• Reliable transportation, as frequent travel between participant homes and community locations is required
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing needs, and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect participant privacy

Responsibilities

• Direct Care and Participant Support: Work scheduled direct care shifts in participant home.
• Provide hands‑on support to participants in accordance with their individual service plans.
• Assist with staffing coverage when needed to maintain consistent participant care.
• Support participant independence, dignity, safety, and personal preferences.
