We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to help
oversee the day-to-day operation of multiple private
properties in Carpinteria.
This is a unique, hands-on position for someone who enjoys
variety, takes pride in keeping a property running beautifully,
and has the ability to see what needs to be done—and simply
get it done.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, resourceful
right-hand person to the Estate Manager, capable of handling
everything from property maintenance and vendor
coordination to guest preparation, household technology,
vehicles, events, and occasional food preparation.
A genuine interest in food and hospitality is important for this position.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable in the kitchen and have a good working knowledge of food, ingredients, grocery shopping, food storage, and basic meal preparation.
This is not a chef position, but there will be occasions when the individual may need to prepare a simple breakfast or sandwiches or salads, prepare snacks for guests, assist with serving, or step in to help the household team when needed.
Being comfortable shopping for high-quality ingredients, understanding food presentation, and knowing how to make a kitchen or gathering feel welcoming will be a significant

Some days may involve overseeing contractors and property projects. Other days may involve troubleshooting a television, picking up a vehicle from service, preparing for arriving guests, making lunch, checking an irrigation problem, or helping set up for a dinner.
