Legend Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Health Care Director to lead the nursing team, support clinical services such as resident medication management and health assessments, and supervise the nursing staff to ensure excellent direct care.

The role requires an active nursing license (RN or LPN), CPR certification, at least one year of relevant experience, and preferably supervisory experience in senior living. Walk-in interviews are available Friday, October 30 from 9 am to 4 pm.

Qualifications

• Required: a current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Required: at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer: previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the management of the nursing department including recruiting, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assists with the move‑in and move‑out process including tours, orientation, evaluations and family communications
• Provides direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or to fill an open shift
• Assuming the Health Care Director’s responsibilities in their absence, and relaying concerns to the Director
• Walk-in interviews scheduled Friday, October 30 from 9 am – 4 pm.
