Legend Senior Living® is seeking an Assistant Health Care Director to help lead the nursing team. You will support clinical services including resident medication management, health assessments and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent direct care.

The role involves recruitment, scheduling, training, and ensuring quality of care, with opportunities to step in for the Health Care Director as needed and to participate in performance evaluations and raises.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state.
• At least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred in senior living.

Responsabilités

• Assist in management of the nursing department including recruiting, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality of care.
• Verify proper distribution and documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning; coordinate with ancillary health care services.
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations and family communications.
• Provide direct care during health emergencies or to fill open shifts.
• Relieve Health Care Director in their absence and relay concerns to the Director.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to help lead the nursing team as an Assistant Health Care Director. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, health assessments and supervising the nursing staff. Requirements- Assistant Health Care Director

• Required: a current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state
• Required: at least 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
