Job summary

PureGym US is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to help the Gym Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club and to support a great place to work and workout for the team and members.

You will lead member experiences, assist in recruiting Personal Trainers and Floor Associates, onboard new teammates, ensure cleanliness, and uphold safety standards. This is a full-time role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable.
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Assist the Gym Manager in recruitment of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates and onboard all new team members.
• Interview, hire and develop all new team members to ensure they have a great onboarding experience.
• Maintain our levels for cleanliness and organization of all areas in the gym.
• Ensure the safety of Members, Guests and Team at all times.
