Job summary

The Assistant Gym Manager at PureGym US will help the Gym Manager run day-to-day operations across the Yonkers club, supporting both members and team members to create a great place to work and work out.

This full-time role emphasizes hands-on leadership, recruitment support for Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates, onboarding new hires, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and high service standards to ensure an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
• Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire

Job Overview:

The key function of the Assistant Gym Manager will be to help the Gym Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club. The Assistant Gym Manager will be an active participant of the team and will play a key part in creating a great place to work - and workout - for the team throughout the entire gym & the members of PureGym.

Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position, involved with everything from member experience to team development, you will support the Gym Manager in the following:
