Job summary

PureGym is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of the club and to be an active member of the team.

You will focus on member experience, team development, recruitment, onboarding, cleanliness and safety, with CPR/AED certification expected within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personable
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
• Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire

Job Overview:

The key function of the Assistant Gym Manager will be to help the Gym Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club. The Assistant Gym Manager will be an active participant of the team and will play a key part in creating a great place to work – and workout – for the team throughout the entire gym & the members of PureGym.

Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position, involved with everything from member experience to team development, you will support the Gym Manager in the following:
