Job summary

Supreme Fitness Group is hiring an Assistant Manager in Fullerton, CA to support the General Manager in gym operations and member experience. You will lead a team of associates, train staff, and ensure high quality customer service while driving club profitability.

The role involves front desk duties, member sign-ups, tours for prospective members, enforcing safety and cleanliness, and coordinating marketing promotions. Occasional 3rd shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Continual standing and walking during shift.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing team consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensure team members follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Schedule team members and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Lead by example and maintain accountability for direct reports through training and coaching.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions; check members into the system; sign up new members; give tours.
• Ensure opening/closing of the gym and oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Manage marketing efforts by ensuring the team is aware and trained on promotions.
• Authorize expenditures and refunds and make daily bank deposits.
