Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness industry roles with a focus on client motivation and program design.
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, and body mechanics.
• Certified in first aid, CPR, AED, and manual handling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or group fitness classes effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a talent for building client rapport and delivering exceptional service.
• Prior experience in health club management or gym operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high energy throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily gym operations, ensuring smooth facility management.
• Support staff training and development, including coaching on biomechanics, body mechanics, and program design.
• Lead by example in delivering motivational fitness coaching and personalized workout plans.
• Promote a positive environment by building rapport with clients through effective communication.
• Coordinate group fitness classes and ensure safety protocols (first aid, CPR, AED) are followed.
• Assist with fitness sales by promoting memberships and personal training services.
• Maintain safety standards with injury prevention strategies related to heavy lifting and biomechanics.
