Guidepost Montessori in Spring, Texas is hiring an Assistant Guide to support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant to 6 years). You will help prepare engaging spaces and facilitate individualized activities, while fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

The role emphasizes respect, patience, and care as you assist in creating a calm, empowering learning environment and building strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 0–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach (prior Montessori experience welcome but not required).

Responsibilities

• Observe children to understand and support individual needs.
• Help maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and team to create a strong classroom community.
