Job summary

Green Circle Growers is seeking an Assistant Grower to support crop production in our PA facilities. You will handle irrigation, fertilization, EC/pH checks, and pest/disease scouting to ensure crops meet specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities include using Priva environmental controls, maintaining clean work areas, and applying IPM principles under the Grower or Grower Manager’s guidance. This role requires a horticulture background and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Horticulture major or related field (or relevant experience)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
• Flexibility to work weekends and varying schedules
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform essential plant care tasks including irrigation, fertilization, EC/pH checks, and pest/disease identification
• Use Priva environmental control software to monitor conditions and report variances
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist in scheduling crops
• Apply IPM practices including scouting, trap placement, and beneficial insects as directed
• Support Grower/Manager with daily tasks and problem solving
