Job summary

You will perform daily tasks, monitor plant health, manage irrigation, and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient greenhouse operations.

• Manage daily assignments and priorities assigned by supervisor to maintain top health and quality of plants in your assigned area.
• Perform tasks such as planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
• Monitor plant health, identify and address any pests, issues, or diseases.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and other equipment.
• Stay up to date on all training, as well as follow and enforce all safety policies and practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with and support other departments and managers, working as a team to accomplish a common goal.

Job description

The Assistant Grower is responsible for the proper care and plant development in their designated area(s), including but not limited to the principles and practices of plant cultivation and quality of the work done on the crops. This position will also monitor and adjust processes to the best growing conditions for all crops as trained or directed by growing leadership.
