Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in turfgrass science, landscape management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of management experience in grounds maintenance.
• Licenses for pest control and landscape maintenance preferred; driving license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grounds crew, irrigation, pest control, tree trimming, and equipment operators; plan schedules and monitor labor productivity.
• Review landscape construction drawings and ensure sustainable maintenance standards campus-wide.
• Enforce policies, handle staff evaluations, and support union/ER processes as needed.
• Oversee equipment, vehicle inspections, and maintenance; coordinate waste and recycling operations.
• Coordinate irrigation systems and asset management, including tree inventory and landscape plans.
