Job summary

Sea Island Golf Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support head staff in golf operations, pro shop duties, and guest services on property. You will help manage carts, practice facilities, and deliver an exceptional guest experience while upholding Sea Island standards.

The role requires PGA membership or active enrollment, strong communication, and a willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year working in golf industry/private golf club experience.
• GolfGenius experience.
• Knowledge of daily golf course operations, USGA rules, handicap, and course rating.
• Class A PGA Membership or currently enrolled as an associate.
• Must have passed the player ability test and advanced skill in playing golf.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in displaying golf shop merchandise.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock when needed.
• Assist with point-of-sale operations and guest fees.
• Schedule tee times and answer questions about facilities.
• Assist Head Professionals with tournament operation needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
