Job summary

Sea Island Company on Saint Simons Island, GA is seeking a friendly guest services associate to assist members and guests on arrival at the golf course, stage golf carts, and ensure a warm welcome in keeping with Sea Island hospitality.

You will maintain carts and equipment, support golf professionals, learn local offerings, and help guests with questions about activities, dining, shops, and area history while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and guest-facing experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare golf carts for daily play prior to guests' arrival.
• Store and clean clubs for all guests and members.
• Assist golf professionals in operation of golf tournaments and outings.
• Assist in transportation of golf clubs to other locations.
• Learn names and recognize regular guests and members.
• Maintain knowledge of guest services, dining options, shops, and local attractions to answer questions.
• Complete a Guest Problem Resolutions form when needed and follow up as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Uphold departmental standards of quality and timing.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Report equipment problems, safety hazards, or unsafe practices to supervisor.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute improvement suggestions.
• Willingness to perform other duties as delegated by leadership.
