Job summary

Detroit Country Club in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf shop operations, tournament administration, and member services. The role involves merchandise, player development, junior golf, and outside operations under the supervision of the General Manager/PGA Professional.

The ideal candidate is service-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn the full golf operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf operations, merchandising, or hospitality preferred.
• PGA status or enrollment in PGA Professional Golf Management program (Level 2+).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily golf shop operations and tee-time coordination.
• Assist with tournaments, leagues, and junior golf programs.
• Support merchandising, inventory, and staff supervision.
• Engage members and guests to enhance the club experience.
