Job summary

Lake Padden Golf Course in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to assist in daily golf operations, provide exceptional guest service, manage merchandise, and operate the POS system. This full-time role includes compensation ranging from $24 to $28 per hour, with additional income from lessons (80/20 split) and merchandising commissions.

Ability to work in a team.

Knowledge of golf tournament operations and event management.
Understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members, guests, and colleagues.
Proficiency in golf instruction techniques and equipment fitting.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, practice areas, and golf carts.
Operate golf cart fleet safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to course policies.
Schedule tee time reservations and manage changes to schedule.
Support the management of golf events, tournaments, and leagues, including organization, set, scoring, and coordination of logistics.
Provide support to the General Manager and other staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations of the facility.
