Job summary

The Make Golf Your Career organization is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations at the club, assist Pro Shop activities, and promote golf programs for members and guests.

You will participate in rounds as needed, help coordinate tournaments, and support service delivery across practice facilities while maintaining professional standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PGA certification preferred (minimum associate level).
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Commitment to ethical work standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members through golf events and promotion of golf programs.
• Participate in rounds of golf to support player development.
• Support cleanliness and organization of outside areas and practice facilities.
• Coordinate, promote and manage golf tournaments and events.
• Assist in managing the handicap program, pro-shop operations, and guest fee processing.
• Provide guidance to staff on customer service excellence and tee time management.
• Maintain operational standards and promotion of clinics and private lessons.
• Assist with budgeting, inventory planning, and promotions.

Education
