Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking an experienced Golf Operations Manager to lead the operations of Courses No. 1 through No. 5. The role focuses on supervising daily golf-related areas, managing revenues and staffing, and ensuring high service standards for members and guests.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a PGA/PGM track, and familiarity with systems like Golf Pro/V1 and Golf Genius. This on-site position requires a professional demeanor and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PGA/PGM program preferred.
Minimum one year related experience in golf operations or equivalent.
Currently attending or completed PGA/PGM program.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily golf operation areas: Front Door, Club Storage, Golf Cars, Registration, Locker Room, and Starter Rangers.
Manage area revenues, payroll, forecasting, and budgeting within company practices.
Assist in scheduling and staffing for EP's work plans.
Support budgeting and cost control while maintaining service quality.
Interface with employees, members, and guests to ensure satisfaction.
Ensure tournaments run professionally to meet expectations.
Resolve guest issues promptly and coordinate with relevant offices.
Collaborate with Tee Time Office, Golf Group Services, and Shop Registration.
Assist Head Golf Pro and work toward Class A PGA certification; knowledge of in-house systems.
Support Pinehurst Golf Academy classes, lessons, and private instruction.
