Job summary

Sarasota National Club in Venice, FL, is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to maintain and improve the golf course with a focus on turf quality and safety. You will work closely with the course leadership, ensuring maintenance aligns with approved budgets and schedules.

The role offers growth in a high-profile design project environment, with responsibilities spanning greens, tees, fairways, and related landscaping, and requires strong organizational skills and licensing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, AA or equivalent from four- or two-year college; 3–4 years related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and construction of the golf course to established standards.
• Work with Superintendent to maintain annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Supervise maintenance staff in daily duties.
• Plan and direct maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Ensure proper maintenance of construction equipment and record keeping.
