Sarasota National Club in Venice, FL, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and construction of the golf course, ensuring turf is repaired and maintained to established standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy/ horticulture/plant/soil science or related field.
• Experience in golf course maintenance or construction preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement budgets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance budget and capital plans with the Superintendent.
• Supervise maintenance staff and assist in daily duties.
• Plan and direct maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Manage planting and cultural practices for turf grasses and landscape plants.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and parts are procured within budget.
