Old Shores in Florida’s panhandle is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to help lead agronomic practices and the maintenance team, guiding the course from grow-in to daily operation at a world-class standard. You’ll support budgeting, staffing and the oversight of drainage and irrigation systems, ensuring top play values while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3 years golf course maintenance and supervisory experience are required.
• Demonstrated agronomic plan development and budget management skills.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing the annual maintenance budget and operating plan.
• Plan staffing schedules to balance quality with cost.
• Supervise maintenance to keep the course in top playing condition.
• Oversee drainage, irrigation, pumping and water reservoir systems.
• Supervise turf and plant care, fertilizer and pest management programs.
• Oversee course construction projects and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and storage regulations.
