Job summary

Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose, Texas, is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team.

The role supports the superintendent with agronomic planning, crew supervision, scheduling, pesticide applications, irrigation control, and record keeping. A 2- or 4-year degree in Turfgrass Management is required, and a pesticide license must be obtained within 6 months. Experience is preferred; playing ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.
• Must have or be able to obtain a pesticide license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the superintendent with agronomic planning and implementation.
• Supervise crew, train staff, and schedule daily tasks.
• Oversee pesticide application, irrigation control, and record keeping.
