Job summary

Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, TX seeks an experienced Senior Assistant Superintendent to support the Golf Course Superintendent. Youll oversee daily maintenance, turfgrass management, irrigation, and equipment upkeep, ensuring high-quality playing conditions and safety.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on agronomy experience, strong communication, and leadership skills to supervise staff and coordinate with club management and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course maintenance and agronomy.
• Knowledge of turfgrass management practices and safety standards.
• Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily maintenance and manage greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers.
• Plan and execute seasonal maintenance and cultural practices.
• Supervise maintenance staff in absence of the Superintendent.
• Operate and maintain turf equipment and assist irrigation tasks.
