Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and administrative management, supervising non-exempt and professional staff.

This role plans and manages daily operations, oversees front desk, safety, and ensures service excellence while maintaining the company’s image. The candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree preferred, boating/marine experience, and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to swim.
• 1-3 years of management experience.
• Boating and/or marine related experience.
• Proficient computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall management of unit operations.
• Plan and manage daily operations; perform opening/closing duties.
• Supervise and schedule staff; train new employees; delegate tasks.
• Recruit and interview candidates; oversee new hire procedures.
• Oversee front desk operations; promote service excellence.
• Serve as point of contact for customer issues; address inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain and enhance the company image when interacting with clients and vendors.
• Inspect facility daily; report unsafe conditions or equipment to GM.
• Assist in managing P&L statements and annual budgeting.
