Job summary

O’Bagel is seeking an Assistant Manager in Parsippany-Troy Hills to lead shifts, uphold SOPs, and deliver excellent guest experiences. You will train teams, manage inventories, and coordinate with the GM to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes staffing, food safety, and strong customer service through hands-on leadership and daily KPI reporting. This is an in-person, growth-focused GM-in-training opportunity.

Qualifications

• Able to lead and motivate a team to meet daily goals.
• Strong guest service orientation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and basic food safety.

Responsibilities

• Fully lead and support staff on the GM's days off.
• Ensure product knowledge and SOPs for FOH & BOH.
• Open and close the store following SOPs.
• Assist GM with weekly inventory, ordering, cash drawer, and vendor communications.
• Supervise inventory control, including rotation and waste minimization.
• Manage POS systems for accurate orders and cash handling.
• Assist GM in enforcing labor schedules and breaks.
• Train and mentor Team Leads and entry-level crew on SOPs.
• Oversee catering execution and communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Provide shift reports and daily KPI updates to GM.
