Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an Assistant General Manager for TAP Sports Bar inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas. You will lead daily restaurant operations, develop a high-performing team, and partner with the General Manager to achieve guest satisfaction, financial goals, and service excellence.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, have 2+ years of relevant experience in high-volume venues, beverage knowledge, and experience managing employees under a collective bargaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant restaurant management experience.
• Beverage knowledge preferred.
• Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
• Experience in a high-volume dining/sports bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service standards, and marketing execution to drive short-term profitability.
• Assist General Manager with HR responsibilities for the restaurant including coaching, recognition, and succession planning with a focus on diversity and compliance.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address complaints; manage feedback channels.
• Enforce policies, procedures, training, menus, and brand standards; execute company initiatives across staff.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and equipment; uphold health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
