Job summary

Sloomoo Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Los Angeles location to lead daily operations, supervise Leads and Slimetenders, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. You will manage staffing, safety, and financials while upholding Sloomoo's culture of joy and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in operations/hospitality/retail, strong leadership, and proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365; experience with Ticketure, Shopify POS, or Acumatica is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, hospitality, retail, entertainment, or guest-facing management.

Responsibilities

• Run daily floor operations as manager on duty: opening/closing, station coverage, guest flow, and moment-to-moment guest experience.
• Resolve escalated guest concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, merchandising, and operational readiness.
• Directly supervise Leads and Slimetenders on shift; coach performance; hire recommendations.
• Own onboarding for new team members and drive station certification.
• Enforce safety standards and file incident reports; escalate issues to GM and HR.
• Monitor daily labor against plan and adjust staffing; manage end-of-day reports.
