Job Description

We are looking for a strong individual to assist the general manager with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant; including staff management, customer service and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and mentor new staff, set job expectations and conduct performance reviews
• Resolve guest questions and complaints and ensure a positive dining experience
• Place orders for ingredients, utensils and equipment and manage inventory
• Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff
• Manage payroll
• Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations
• Record income and expenses, and balance cash registers
• Coordinate between back- and front-of-house staff
• Use problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to resolve issues
