Job summary

KidStrong is expanding its South Florida centers and seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead with energy and ownership. You’ll support the General Manager, engage with coaches and members, and drive center growth through leadership, operations, and local marketing initiatives.

The role requires a motivated, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping kids grow. Weekend availability is required to ensure center success.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in management, sales, customer service, or operations.
• Background in children’s programming, fitness, education, or athletics is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, creating a positive, energetic environment for coaches and members.
• Assist in overseeing sales, operations, and the member experience to help drive growth and retention.
• Partner closely with the GM to ensure smooth day-to-day center operations and consistent execution.
• Help drive community engagement and class growth through scheduling, outreach, and local marketing efforts.
• Lead from the front by coaching ~1–5 classes per week and modeling the KidStrong experience.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and training of new coaches while maintaining program quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
