Job summary

Sterling, VA area is seeking an Assistant Glazing Project Manager to support senior project managers on commercial glazing and architectural glass projects. You will help coordinate drawings, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and documentation from contract award through completion.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while developing into a full Project Manager position. This is a full-time, on-site role in Northern Virginia.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in commercial glazing, construction, or project coordination preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of commercial glazing projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, subcontractors, and field installation teams.
• Assist with material procurement and tracking of deliveries.
• Monitor project schedules and help ensure materials and installation stay on schedule.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and tracking systems.
• Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and change-order management.
• Attend project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Help resolve field and coordination issues alongside senior project managers.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, vendors, and project partners.
