Job summary

AM Glass Inc is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager to support commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural metal, and panel projects in the New York City market. You will coordinate submittals, shop drawings, purchase orders, material deliveries, schedules, and closeout requirements with experienced Project Managers.

This on-site role (Mon-Fri) is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of construction project coordination who seeks greater responsibility and a path toward

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction project coordination or related experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general document-management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from kickoff through closeout, tracking submittals, shop drawings, POs, materials, schedules, changes and closeout requirements.
• Maintain accurate project information and documentation in Monday.com and OneDrive.
• Support Project Managers across multiple active commercial construction projects.
• Track project milestones, outstanding items, approvals, and internal responsibilities.
• Identify missing information, scheduling concerns, or approval delays and elevate them to the Project Manager.
