Wendy's in Queens is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to help lead our restaurant and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the General Manager to develop a high-performing team, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management in high-volume quick service or fast casual.
• Previous GM or AGM experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts while ensuring outstanding guest service, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboarding, and develop team members.
• Coach Shift Managers and Crew Members to achieve performance goals.
• Drive sales, labor, food cost, and profitability through strong operational execution.
• Managing schedules to support business needs while controlling labor costs.
• Maintaining inventory, ordering, and food safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with Wendy's operating procedures, health regulations, and company policies.
• Handling guest concerns professionally and creating positive guest experiences.
• Building a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
• Stepping in to lead the restaurant whenever the General Manager is away.
