Job summary

Doherty Enterprises' Wendy's brand in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant General Manager. You will lead shifts, drive guest service, ensure food quality and cleanliness, and support the General Manager in daily operations.

You will recruit and develop team members, coach supervisors, manage labor and costs, and uphold safety and brand standards while building a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume quick service or fast casual environment.
• Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• Maintaining inventory, ordering, and food safety standards
• Ensuring compliance with Wendy's operating procedures, health regulations, and company policies
• Handling guest concerns professionally and creating positive guest experiences
• Building a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture
• Stepping in to lead the restaurant whenever the General Manager is away
