Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years in direct food service and/or retail management.
• Proven track record of growing sales and developing staff.
• Hands-on leadership with strong customer service focus.
• ServSafe certification or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: oversee daily operations of the Patriot Café, Patriot Retail, and/or Patriot Brew at the VA Medical Center.
• Team Supervision & Development: train and support staff to build a high-performing team.
• Customer Experience: deliver outstanding service for Veterans, staff and visitors.
• Food Safety & Quality: ensure quality, sanitation, cleanliness and product availability.
• Regulatory Compliance: follow policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Financial & Resource Management: assist with inventory, labor costs, and budgets.
• Marketing & Promotions: implement local programs to drive engagement and sales.
• Leadership Accountability: report to Canteen Chief on operations, performance, and compliance.
